Your home is listed in the MLS by one of our participating
Flat Fee Listing Brokers. Real Estate Agents who are working with
buyers will check this network of homes for sale, looking only
for homes that meet their buyers' criteria.
If an agent representing a buyer sells your home, you pay them a commission at closing, usually 3%. This commission is advertised in the MLS Listing, letting agents know the seller is willing to cooperate with a Buyer's Broker.
If you find your own buyer, you will not be obligated to pay a commission on the sale.
Previously, homeowners were unable to present their home in the MLS system unless they paid 6-7% of the home's selling price to a Realtor. Fortunately, homeowners now have the ability, through MLSMarketing.com, to have access to the Multiple Listing Service. |
